One dead and two injured in early morning crash on OHB Friday.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A front seat passenger died following a crash early Friday morning on Old Hickory Boulevard at Zermatt Avenue.

According to authorities, a 2005 Lincoln Grand Marquis, driven by 38-year-old Katera Johnson, was traveling west when she turned left and was struck on the passenger side by a 2019 Accord. The impact caused the Grand Marquis to overturn, resulting in the death of Johnson's passenger, 42-year-old Markeith Miller.

Johnson sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital. The driver of the , 25-year-old Eddie McGee, was also with non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing to assess whether speed or impairment may have contributed to the crash. Lane closures were in effect during the response and investigation.
