Motorcyclist Killed in Collision in Scott County
A motorcyclist was killed in a crash with a car on Highway 13 in Savage, Scott County, at 1:48 p.m. on Thursday.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a motorcycle traveling south collided with a Hyundai Elantra heading east at the intersection of Highway 13 and McColl Drive. The motorcyclist, identified as 54-year-old David Lawrence Sampson of Prior Lake, was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities reported that he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
The 19-year-old driver of the Hyundai sustained no injuries. The incident remains under investigation by State Patrol.
