GARFIELD COUNTY, Okla. (KOKH) — A Florida man died in a single-vehicle accident early this morning in Garfield County.
At approximately 7:30 a.m. on July 2, emergency responders were dispatched to the scene at Hwy 132 and W. Robertson Rd.
According to authorities, the driver, identified as 35-year-old Steven Parker, crossed the center line, left the roadway, and struck a concrete culvert.
Following the collision, the vehicle collided with a barbed wire fence and rolled multiple times in a nearby field.
Parker was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, according to the accident report.
The roadway was briefly closed for investigation and cleanup. Further details regarding the crash are pending as the investigation continues.
