Las Vegas (KSNV) — A single-vehicle crash on southbound US 95 near Searchlight left one man dead on Tuesday afternoon.
According to Nevada State Police, the incident occurred shortly after noon, just south of mile marker 14, approximately six miles south of Searchlight. The crash involved a minivan that rolled into the center median.
Authorities confirmed that an adult male was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the vehicle sustained minor injuries but declined transport by medical services.
The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) reported that one lane remains blocked near Airport Road while the investigation is ongoing. Police are advising motorists to exercise caution and reduce speed in the area.
