SEAFORD, DELAWARE — A 25-year-old man died in a single-vehicle crash on Hastings Farm Road early on July 10, according to Delaware State Police.
Authorities reported the man, whose identity is pending family notification, was driving south at approximately 6:40 a.m. when he lost control of his Hyundai Veloster. The vehicle veered off the road, struck a chain link fence, collided with a parked car, and flipped before hitting a tree.
Emergency responders pronounced the man dead at the scene. Delaware State Police are conducting an investigation to ascertain the cause of the crash. There were no other reported injuries.
No road closures were noted, and vehicle towing was arranged at the site. Further updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
