A head-on collision on I-95 near Arden resulted in the death of 19-year-old Unique Williams of Newark around 9 p.m. on Feb. 20.
According to Delaware State Police, Williams was driving a Chrysler 200 southbound when her vehicle crossed the grass median, colliding with a Volvo truck-tractor pulling a trailer loaded with cars. The incident occurred south of Harvey Road.
Williams was ejected from the vehicle and succumbed to her injuries at the hospital. Authorities noted she was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
The 34-year-old driver of the Volvo, a man from New York, was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
