Vanderbilt Man Dies in Motorcycle Crash in Otsego County
OTSEGO COUNTY, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU) – A 76-year-old man from Vanderbilt died following a motorcycle crash on Saturday.
According to Michigan State Police, the incident occurred on September 27 at approximately 12:20 p.m. on Sparr Road near Johnson Crossing Grade in Dover Township. A group of motorcycles was traveling eastbound when one rider veered onto the gravel shoulder, lost control, and the motorcycle rolled multiple times.
The rider was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Authorities stated that speed and alcohol are not believed to be contributing factors in the crash.
Emergency assistance was provided by the Otsego County Fire Department and Otsego County EMS. The investigation into the accident remains ongoing.
