A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 near Mile Marker 142 resulted in significant delays Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities said the incident occurred around 2:15 p.m. ET, involving three cars and a commercial truck traveling eastbound.
Two individuals were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No fatalities were reported.
Emergency responders from the local Fire Department and State Police arrived on the scene shortly after the collision. Lane closures were instituted while debris was cleared.
Witnesses reported that traffic was backed up for over five miles. As of 3:30 p.m. ET, the investigation remains ongoing, and drivers are advised to use alternate routes.
