LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Two individuals were hospitalized following a suspected DUI crash involving three vehicles in east Las Vegas on Tuesday night.
The incident occurred around 7:40 p.m. at the intersection of Nellis and Lake Mead boulevards, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police (LVMPD). A driver suspected of impairment rear-ended a vehicle and subsequently struck a third car.
Medical personnel transported the allegedly impaired driver as well as the driver of one of the impacted vehicles. Authorities reported that their injuries are not life-threatening.
The intersection was temporarily closed to facilitate the police response but has since been reopened. No further details regarding the incident have been released.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
