SAN DIEGO, CA — A significant collision occurred midway through the second stage of the NASCAR race on Sunday, resulting in multiple vehicles wrecking.
The incident involved cars driven by Shane van Gisbergen, Austin Hill, and Connor Zilisch around 2:41 p.m. Authorities reported that the crash took place on the main track, impacting several lanes. At least two vehicles were confirmed damaged beyond repair.
