COLUMBUS, Ohio — A motorcyclist died after a crash with an SUV Tuesday morning near Sullivant Avenue and Wilson Road on the city's west side.
According to police, a Buick Enclave was traveling eastbound on Sullivant Avenue and turned left to go northbound onto Wilson Road.
At the same time, a person riding a Honda motorcycle was westbound on Sullivant Avenue approaching Wilson Road when the vehicles collided, authorities said.
The rider was ejected. The Columbus Division of Fire responded and pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene.
Investigators did not indicate whether the Enclave's driver was injured. No information on lane closures or tows was immediately released.
