WASHINGTON PARISH, La. — Louisiana State Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred Tuesday night on Louisiana Highway 10 near Twin Pines Road.
Leon Curry Jr., 70, from Franklinton, was driving westbound when he veered off the road and struck a culvert. Authorities reported he was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the incident and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency responders were dispatched shortly after the crash. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is ongoing, according to state police.
