IDAHO COUNTY — Three motorcyclists were killed in a crash east of Kooskia on June 16, confirmed authorities.
The Idaho County Coroner identified the victims as Ethan Powers, 35, of Timnath, Colorado; Jeremy Coleman, 45, of Berthoud, Colorado; and Nathan McCormick, 26, of Loveland, Colorado. All were on a motorcycle trip together.
Authorities from the Larimer County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) reported that the victims included a Deputy, a Sergeant, and a Sergeant's family member. “Larimer County is heartbroken to share information about a sudden and tragic loss within our agency,” LCSO stated in a press release.
The suspect driver involved in the incident has been arrested and booked into Idaho County Jail, facing three counts of vehicular manslaughter.
According to the Idaho County Coroner, condolences have been extended to the families affected by the tragic event. Idaho State Police (ISP) is actively investigating the crash, with further details pending.
