One child was pronounced dead following a crash on Wednesday evening in Morgan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported that a CF Moto UForce 1,000 was traveling north on Blackbird Road, north of Birch Road, at approximately 5:30 p.m. The vehicle skidded on gravel, veered off the left side of the roadway, and overturned.
A 7-year-old male driver and a 42-year-old male passenger from Stover, Missouri, were transported to University Hospital after the accident. The child was pronounced dead at 7:29 p.m.
Authorities stated that neither the child nor the adult was wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
The investigation remains ongoing, and no further details have been released.
