A car crashed and caught fire near Obetz Road and Parsons Avenue in south Columbus early Saturday, leaving one person critically injured.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, the vehicle left the roadway and went into a tree line behind homes in the Shenandoah Commons area.
Authorities said one person was transported to a hospital in critical condition. No additional injuries were immediately reported.
Police did not release details on contributing factors, lane closures, or whether a tow was requested. No further information, including the patient's identity, was available.
