Motorcyclist Airlifted After Cape Cod Crash
SANDWICH, MA — A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash involving a car on Route 6A Tuesday afternoon.
Police responded to the collision at the intersection of Old County Road shortly after 3:30 p.m., according to authorities. The crash involved a motorcycle and a Toyota Corolla.
The motorcyclist, a 65-year-old man from Barnstable, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to a local hospital. His condition remains unknown at this time.
The driver of the Corolla, a 39-year-old man from Sandwich, was reportedly uninjured and remained at the scene, cooperating with police.
