NORFOLK, Va. — A serious car crash with life-threatening injuries blocked Lafayette Boulevard on Friday morning as Norfolk Police continue their investigation.
Authorities closed Lafayette Boulevard from Tidewater Drive to the base of the bridge at Villa Circle. Drivers are urged to avoid the 1600 block and utilize alternate routes, including Willow Wood Drive to the north and Lindenwood Avenue to the south. The investigation is expected to disrupt morning traffic.
The incident was reported at approximately 3:15 a.m., according to Norfolk Police.
