Man Charged with Aggravated Assault Following Alleged Crash into Ex-Partner's Vehicle.

SAN ANTONIO — Carlos Rodriguez Jr. was arrested for allegedly crashing into his former partner's vehicle while violating a protective order.

According to an arrest affidavit, the incident occurred on April 26 on Marbach Road. Rodriguez, 31, allegedly followed the woman, with whom he previously had a dating relationship, and demanded she exit her vehicle.

Witnesses reported that after the confrontation, Rodriguez returned to his vehicle and struck the woman's . The woman reported experiencing pain in her neck, back, stomach, and chest.

A female passenger in the woman's vehicle was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries, including a bump on the head and bruising on her hand and knee.

Rodriguez faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Authorities confirmed that he was taken into custody following the incident.
