MANCHESTER, N.H. — An ATV crash in Berlin injured two people on the evening of October 6.
Authorities report that an 18-year-old man was riding on the Presidential Rail Trail when he struck a large rock and was thrown from the vehicle. A passenger was also ejected in the incident.
Witnesses reported the crash and provided immediate medical assistance while calling 911. Both individuals sustained multiple injuries and were transported to the hospital.
While the crash is under investigation, authorities indicated that inattention and excessive speed could be contributing factors.
