Injury Crash in Randolph County Leaves Woman Seriously Hurt

Lede: A serious accident occurred on Tuesday evening in Randolph County involving a Ford Explorer and a Lexus.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the incident took place at approximately 10:06 p.m. on South Williams and Whightman Streets. A 2016 Ford Explorer was traveling north when it made a left turn and collided with a southbound 2011 Lexus IS.

The driver of the Lexus, a 28-year-old woman from Moberly, MO, sustained serious injuries and was transported to University Hospital for treatment.

Authorities confirmed that both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. Details regarding vehicle towing and lane closures are not currently available, and the investigation into the accident is ongoing.
