Kansas City, MO. – A woman was killed in a car crash on Thursday night in Kansas City.
According to the police, the accident happened around 8 p.m. on Interstate 70 west of Noland Road.
A Ford Focus traveling westbound on I-70 crashed into the back of a stopped semi-truck. The semi-truck was reportedly stopped because the vehicle in front had mechanical issues.
The female driver of the Ford was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger in the Ford was hospitalized with serious injuries.
