DAYTONA BEACH SHORES, Fla. — Body-camera video released Tuesday shows the June 1 toll booth crash that killed a worker, authorities said.

According to the Volusia Sheriff's Office, 911 callers reported a pickup truck driving erratically along Peninsula Drive shortly before the collision.

Investigators said the truck struck a beach ramp toll booth, killing 63-year-old attendant Tammy Jo “Tiny Joe” Baker.

Sheriff Mike Chitwood said the timeline shows Baker entered the booth at 12:38:05; EMTs arrived at 12:39, and she was at 12:40.

Authorities said first responders and lifeguards provided medical aid at the scene.

Deputies later located the driver, identified as 35-year-old Deanna Harrell, on the beach after the vehicle became stuck in the sand, authorities said.

Deputies said Harrell showed signs of intoxication and was taken into custody under the Baker Act after threats of self-harm.

On Wednesday, the Sheriff's Office said Harrell was taken into custody on warrants for vehicular homicide and DUI manslaughter.

Authorities said the investigation remains active.
