Connecticut Man Killed in I-93 Crash; Driver Injured

LITTLETON, N.H. — A fatal crash on I-93 occurred Monday night, claiming the life of a 78-year-old man from Connecticut.

Authorities reported that the driver of a pickup truck lost control around 7 p.m., struck a guardrail, and descended an embankment. The passenger, identified as Robert MacDonald of Baltic, Connecticut, was at the scene.

The driver sustained injuries that were not life-threatening and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Emergency responders arrived promptly, and there were no other vehicles involved in the incident.

The crash is under investigation by local law enforcement. No lane closures were reported following the incident.
