PHOENIX, AZ — A woman was indicted Tuesday, May 26, 2026, in connection with a freeway crash that resulted in the death of her daughter.

Authorities said the incident occurred on the I-10 westbound lanes near 27th Avenue at approximately 2:41 p.m. Investigators confirmed two vehicles were involved in the crash, including a sedan and an . The collision resulted in serious injuries to the driver of the sedan, who was at the scene. The daughter was 17 years old.
