OSSIPEE, N.H. — A car crash on Route 16 early Sunday morning claimed the life of an Ossipee man.
According to authorities, the incident was reported around 2 a.m. south of the Route 16B intersection. Responding officers found 59-year-old Barry Houston ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The details surrounding the cause of the crash and Houston's death remain under investigation. No further information about any additional vehicles or injuries has been released.
Emergency responders were on the scene, and there may be follow-up actions regarding roadway conditions during the investigation.
