Mashpee Woman Arrested for DUI After Crash Near Joint Base Cape Cod
MASHPEE, MA — A 33-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence following a crash near Joint Base Cape Cod on Saturday evening.
According to Massachusetts State Police, Michelle E. Lopez-Ayala crashed her vehicle into a construction trailer on Connery Avenue just before 6 p.m. She faces multiple charges, including Operating Under the Influence (OUI) of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and failure to stop.
Witnesses reported seeing several police officers and service members respond to the scene as Lopez-Ayala was taken into custody. No injuries were reported, and further details are pending.
