BRIGHAM CITY, Utah (KUTV) — Authorities continue to seek information in the fatality of Angela “Angie” Kjar, 65, which occurred on September 29.

Kjar was walking at the intersection of 425 East and 800 South shortly before 8 p.m. when she was struck. Emergency responders arrived, but Kjar was pronounced deceased at the scene.

According to the Brigham City Police Department, the investigation remains active, and they are appealing for public assistance. “We are looking for any details that may seem insignificant but could be crucial,” said Detective Crystal Beck.

Witnesses reported seeing emergency lights and an ambulance but did not hear the impact. “There were no skid marks,” one neighbor noted. The area experienced rainfall the following day, potentially washing away vital evidence.

Beck stated the investigation has faced challenges, including limited eyewitness accounts. “We've executed search warrants and canvassed the neighborhood but have not received leads,” she explained.

Authorities emphasize the importance of community involvement, particularly urging anyone with information regarding the suspect or the incident to contact the Brigham City Police Department at (435) 734-6650.

Kjar's family is still seeking closure, and police reiterated their message to the driver involved: “Coming forward now is an opportunity to tell the truth and show compassion.”
