One man sustained serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday evening in Benton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported that a 1997 GMC was traveling south on Hastain Avenue.
At approximately 8:15 p.m., just south of Mulholland Road, the driver lost control and struck a tree.
A 31-year-old male passenger from Climax Springs, Mo., was airlifted by Life Flight to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
MSHP confirmed the passenger was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident.
