TOWN OF LA PRAIRIE, Wis. (WKOW) — An 80-year-old man died following a crash on South County Trunk G near West Highway 11 Bypass on April 28.
Robert L. Fucilla, from San Mateo, California, was a passenger in a truck involved in the collision, according to the Rock County Medical Examiner's Department. The crash occurred around 1 p.m. when the truck, driven by a 32-year-old Beloit man, collided with another vehicle operated by a 48-year-old man from Janesville.
Fucilla was transported to Mercy Hospital with serious injuries but was later pronounced dead. Preliminary examinations confirmed his cause of death as injuries sustained in the crash.
The Rock County Sheriff's Office and the Rock County Medical Examiner's Department are continuing to investigate the incident.
