GRANT COUNTY, Wis. (WKOW) – A 65-year-old Woodman man suffered injuries in a motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon in Grant County, according to the Grant County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities responded to the incident at 3:53 p.m. in the 4000 block of County Trunk Highway M in Watterstown Township. Investigators reported that Steven Gebhard was riding a 2015 Harley-Davidson eastbound when he failed to navigate a left-hand curve, causing the motorcycle to veer off the road and into a ditch. The bike then traveled down a steep hill, flipped over, and came to rest in a field.
Gebhard was thrown from the motorcycle but managed to walk to a nearby residence to call for assistance. He was not wearing a helmet and sustained non-life-threatening injuries, prompting transport by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.
The motorcycle suffered disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Boscobel EMS, the Boscobel Fire Department, and Terry's Tire and Tow provided assistance at the incident location.
