Augusta Man Dies in Traffic Accident Near Airport
A 58-year-old man was killed in a traffic accident Wednesday morning near Augusta Regional Airport.
Andrew Mark Pregel was pronounced dead at 7:45 a.m. at the scene on Doug Barnard Parkway, north of Tobacco Road, according to Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen. The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation.
An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of death.
