CAMBRIDGE, MA — A crash early Monday morning has left two drivers with life-threatening injuries on Alewife Brook Parkway, near Matignon Street.
The incident occurred shortly before 5 a.m., involving two vehicles that sustained significant damage. According to Massachusetts State Police, both drivers were transported to nearby hospitals.
Preliminary investigations indicate that at least one vehicle may have veered off the roadway and collided with a tree. Lane closures are in effect as emergency responders work at the scene. Authorities have not yet released further details on the condition of the injured or the cause of the crash.
