SWANSEA, Mass. (WJAR) — A motorcycle operator sustained significant injuries in a crash involving a dump truck on Route 6 Friday morning.
The collision occurred shortly after 8 a.m. near Swansea Mall Drive. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, and the motorcycle was heavily damaged, with debris scattered across the roadway.
Authorities reported that the motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital; the condition of the operator remains undisclosed. A portion of Route 6 was closed for several hours due to the investigation and cleanup.
