Deadly Crash Investigated as Double Homicide in Northeast Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — A crash on Friday afternoon near Wilshire Boulevard and Kelley Avenue is now being investigated as a double homicide, according to police.

Authorities reported that a 34-year-old man, Aaron Taylor, intentionally drove into oncoming traffic, resulting in the deaths of two individuals. Taylor is now facing two counts of first-degree murder and one count of kidnapping.

The victims have been identified as 31-year-old Jonathan Wooldridge and 30-year-old Sierra Gamble. Memorials consisting of balloons, flowers, and candles have been placed at the crash site.

Police stated that Taylor physically assaulted Gamble before driving off with her. While traveling down Wilshire, he crossed the center line and collided with Wooldridge's vehicle. Wooldridge was reportedly on his way to assist a coworker when the crash occurred.

Witnesses described Wooldridge as a kind man known for his helpfulness, stating he often assisted others, including distributing food to homeless individuals. Gamble, who shared a daughter with Taylor, was remembered as a good Samaritan and an exemplary mother.
