EMMETT, Idaho — State Highway 16 between Emmett and Star reopened following a traffic collision at Mile Marker 106, north of W. Colton Lane, on October 10 at 9:15 a.m.
Authorities reported an expanded multi-vehicle crash that resulted in at least one injury. The Ada County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene, along with emergency medical services.
The Idaho Transportation Department confirmed that lane closures were in effect during the response and subsequent investigation. Tows were arranged to clear the vehicles involved.
The situation is now under investigation, and traffic patterns are returning to normal.
