Serious Crash on Massachusetts Turnpike Disrupts Traffic
NEWTON-WESTON, MA—Emergency crews responded to a serious crash on the Massachusetts Turnpike at Route 128 early Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred just after 6 a.m. on Interstate 90 westbound. A tractor-trailer reportedly went off the highway and rolled down an embankment into the median near the train tracks.
According to State Police, the right lane is currently closed, and a heavy-duty tow truck has been requested to clear the scene. They noted that eastbound traffic is also being affected.
Authorities have not yet confirmed any injuries related to the crash. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
