BLOOMINGTON, MN—A stolen crashed during a police pursuit Thursday morning, resulting in two arrests.

At approximately 8 a.m., a vehicle pursuit led to a crash along Highway 100, just north of Interstate 394. Bloomington Police were alerted to a stolen vehicle from an apartment complex at 7:20 a.m., prompting the initial response.

Officers responded to reports of a suspect attempting to enter a residence nearby, where damage to the door was noted. Following a brief pursuit, the stolen vehicle collided with another vehicle near 98th Street and Lyndale Avenue.

The suspect driver then abandoned the vehicle, switching to another stolen . After losing control, this second vehicle crashed on Highway 100. Traffic cameras captured the suspects fleeing across the median into a grassy area.

Bloomington Police, in collaboration with local agencies, apprehended two suspects—a 27-year-old man and a 20-year-old man, both from Minneapolis. One suspect was located hiding in water.

Both individuals sustained injuries and were transported to a local hospital but are expected to recover. Authorities continue to investigate the incidents.
