NEWTON, Mass. —
One person was injured in a head-on collision involving two vehicles on Wednesday afternoon.
The incident occurred near 1139 Beacon St., across from Newton Cemetery, at approximately 2:41 p.m.
Both vehicles sustained extensive front-end damage and were located near the sidewalk. According to Newton Police, at least one individual was transported to a hospital for medical treatment.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. Lane closures were reported as emergency personnel responded to the scene.
