Child Seriously Injured in Frankford Car Crash at Aramingo Avenue and Wakeling Street

Philadelphia, PA. – A child was seriously injured in a collision in Philadelphia's Frankford neighborhood on Monday night.

According to the police, the accident happened around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Aramingo Avenue and Wakeling Street.

A Kia, a Nissan, and a Range Rover were stopped at a red light at the intersection. A short time later, a Taurus failed to slow down and rear-ended one of the cars, causing a collision.

A 5-year-old child in the Ford Taurus was injured in the accident and was taken to St. Christopher's Hospital in critical condition.

No one else was injured in the accident.
