Philadelphia, PA. – A child was seriously injured in a collision in Philadelphia's Frankford neighborhood on Monday night.
According to the police, the accident happened around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Aramingo Avenue and Wakeling Street.
A Kia, a Nissan, and a Range Rover were stopped at a red light at the intersection. A short time later, a speeding Ford Taurus failed to slow down and rear-ended one of the cars, causing a chain-reaction collision.
A 5-year-old child in the Ford Taurus was injured in the accident and was taken to St. Christopher's Hospital in critical condition.
No one else was injured in the accident.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
