Charlotte County, FL. – One person was killed in a car crash that happened on Wednesday morning in Charlotte County.
The deadly collision happened around 3:15 a.m. on Bermont Road, between Paradise Park and Eugene Avenue, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office.
A 20-year-old Parrish man was driving a car west on Bermont Road when he drifted into the opposite lanes and collided head-on with an eastbound car driven by a 28-year-old Davie man.
The Parrish man was pronounced dead on the scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
