Macomb Township, MI. – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision that left two others injured on Monday afternoon in Macomb Township.
According to the Macomb County Sheriff's Office, the accident happened around 1:52 p.m. at the intersection of Garfield Road and Adelaide Drive.
A blue Jeep Compass was driving west on Adelaide at high rates of speed when it went through a stop sign and crashed into a semi-truck.
A white Ford Escape also crashed into the semi-truck.
The Jeep driver was killed in the accident.
The drivers of the Ford Escape and the semi-truck were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
