ALLEGAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A serious motorcycle crash occurred Sunday at approximately 12:41 p.m. near 113th Avenue and Jennings Court.
According to the Allegan County Sheriff's Office, the motorcyclist was riding eastbound when he lost control and crashed. He was the sole occupant of the motorcycle and was not wearing a helmet.
First responders from the Allegan Fire Department and Life EMS provided on-scene treatment before transporting the rider to a local hospital, where he is listed in serious condition.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident. The roadway was closed for several hours while the Allegan County Reconstruction Team investigated the scene. The road has since reopened, but the investigation is ongoing.
