Westport, MA – A 29-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash late Saturday night on Main Street.
Authorities identified the man as John Soares IV, a resident of Fall River. He was found approximately 50 feet from his Harley Davidson, which crashed near Benjamin Tripp Road, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident occurred around 11:38 p.m. According to the Bristol County District Attorney's Office, investigators noted that a telephone pole and a wall were involved in the crash.
State and local police are conducting an investigation. The cause of the crash remains unconfirmed.
