Man, 52, Dies in Columbia Crash on South Providence Road

Colombia, MO. – A man has died from injuries he sustained in a crash last week Thursday in Columbia.

According to the Columbia Police Department, the accident happened in the 2700 block of South Providence Road at around 10:53 a.m.

A 2022 Explorer had been traveling southbound on Providence Road and tried to turn left onto Carter Lane when it was hit by a 2022 Pacifica.

The impact caused the to roll over and land on top of a 2015 Sonata.

A 52-year-old male passenger of the was transported to the hospital where he died on Tuesday.
