BOURNE, Mass. —
The Bourne Bridge reopened Sunday evening following a multi-vehicle crash that shut down both directions, according to Massachusetts State Police.
Authorities responded to the scene just after 1 p.m. for reports of the collision involving several cars.
A driver was entrapped and sustained serious injuries, prompting transport to St. Luke's Hospital.
The bridge remained closed for several hours while state police conducted their investigation.
