Standish, ME—Motorcyclist Dies in Late-Night Crash

A motorcyclist was killed late Friday night in Standish, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities responded to the scene at approximately 11:20 p.m. and found the operator of a 1990 Suzuki 600 in a cluster of trees off Pequawket Trail. The rider was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.

The crash is currently under investigation to determine the cause. The sheriff's office has not released the victim's name, pending notification of next of kin.
