RAYNHAM, Mass. —
One person was hospitalized Tuesday following a vehicle collision with a home in Raynham, Massachusetts, authorities said.
The incident occurred at approximately 12:51 p.m. at 1577 Broadway.
First responders discovered a Ford Fusion had struck the lower brick section of the residence, resulting in significant damage.
According to investigators, an elderly driver from Rhode Island experienced a medical episode, leading to the vehicle leaving the roadway, crossing the lawn, and colliding with the house. The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Boston Medical Center – South in Brockton.
The home was occupied during the incident, though no injuries were reported among the residents.
Authorities are assessing the structural damage to the property. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
