An investigation is ongoing after a Metro crashed into a restaurant in Northwest D.C. on Saturday morning, injuring three people.

The incident occurred at 9:45 a.m. near 7th Street and Q Street, NW, where the bus was struck before colliding with the AMBAR Restaurant, which was unoccupied at the time. Authorities confirmed that three adult women, including the bus driver, were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries.

Emergency responders from the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) and DC Fire and EMS managed the scene. The bus was removed from the building shortly before noon.

Building Status
