One Dead, One Hospitalized in Head-On Collision on Route 16 in Errol
Errol, NH — One person was killed and another hospitalized Friday in a head-on collision on Route 16, according to New Hampshire State Police.
The crash occurred around 2:41 p.m. involving two vehicles. Emergency responders from the New Hampshire State Police and local agencies arrived on the scene to manage the situation.
Authorities confirmed that one driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. The identities of those involved have not been released pending family notification.
Both eastbound and westbound lanes of Route 16 were temporarily closed during the investigation and clean-up. Towing services were engaged to clear the wreckage.
The incident remains under investigation by the New Hampshire State Police, who are urging any witnesses to come forward with information.
