MANCHESTER, N.H. — New Hampshire Fish and Game officials have issued a warning about hazardous snowmobile trail conditions following a crash at Clough State Park on March 4.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:30 p.m. on the Basset Mill Road Trail. A 24-year-old male rider reportedly lost control of his snowmobile while attempting a left turn, becoming stuck in deep snow and veering off the trail.
Authorities confirmed that the rider was ejected and collided with a tree. He sustained injuries and was transported to Concord Hospital for medical treatment.
Emergency responders are advising caution for all snowmobile users due to the deteriorating trail conditions. An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
